About Arun Aditya
I'm Arun Kumar Aditya, an Android Framework & Platform Engineer with 5.6 years of experience, currently working at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India (MBRDI) — the largest R&D centre for the Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside Germany.
My core expertise is in Android Framework and AOSP development — AIDL, Binder IPC, Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), init.rc, VNDK/Treble, and the AOSP build system (Soong). I build platform-level components and productivity apps (calendar, meetings, email, notes) for Mercedes-Benz in-car infotainment head units.

Before MBRDI, I worked at Aroma Enterprises India Ltd as an Android Application Developer (Dec 2020 – May 2023), where I built the company's flagship distribution management apps Vitaran & Vitaran Live.
Content Creation
I write technical articles on Android development and AOSP on Medium (1M+ reads) and share video content on my YouTube channel Silicon to System. I also have 18k+ followers on LinkedIn.
